General​

  • Shaheem Azmal M MD: General updates regarding project, Request to update the gsoc wiki before joining the call.

  • Gaurav Mishra: Requests all the mentors/contributors to send the meeting invites to him or kaushl, so that the timings and invites can be added to WIKI.

Updates from contributors​

  • Rajul Jha

    • This week. I spent most of the time looking into Atarashi Code base.

    • I have fixed few minor bugs, and versioning issyes that had been deprecated in libraries like pandas.

    • Started working on the license possibility detector and initially I started with the keyword based approach as similar to what is used by nomos.

    • I have started looking at algorithms which will allow us to move towards a ML based model for possibility detection and also exploring the Minerva data set for that.

  • Prakash-Mishra

    • I have gone through developers guide of ORT.

    • Discussed with mentors on how to integrate nomos with ORT.

    • Have also gone through the documentation of ORT and SCAN code to follow the same process for FOSSology.

  • Vaibhav Sahu

    • I have been working on Export of SPDX and readmeoss reports to OSSelot project.

    • We have added a setting in conf page. and recieved feedback from mentor.

  • Harshit Gandhi

    • No Update Available.

  • Chayan Das

    • Worked on go-lang migration issues and currrntly it is in the review phase.

    • Currently working on Authentication part.

  • Ahmed Gamal

    • No Update Available.

  • Oyewale Abdulsobur

    • Spent time on installing FOSSology and safaa projects locally.

    • Currently focusing on pulling copyrights from fossology instance to train.

  • Devanshi Sachan

    • I have been working on a heuristic analysis for all the pages that have been mentioned in issues page.

    • I am also working on the redesign for the header and footer separately. So I was just exploring a few ways on how to.

    • Redesign and then we also looked into a few and got a a little bit of input on that. So yeah, currently I've been mostly working on that itself and yeah,

    • We had discussions on logo design, font families, colors that I can use in the redesign.

  • Muhammad Salman

    • I have completed my final exams in during community bonding period and had meetings with Soham and Avinal.

    • Looked into changes done by Omar's, like the PR 2086.

    • Tried to set up this changes locally and rebase it, this task is expected to finish in 2 weeks.

  • Tiyasa Kundu

    • I have been looking into FOSSOLOGYUI code base.

    • Currently im working on migration of React Code based to nextJS.

    • Also spending some time for learning this.
