Week 5: Meeting Summary and Activities
Date: July 08, 2026
Attendees
- Katharina

Discussion
- Examined why the current primary and secondary navigation approach does not scale well across all pages, and how it introduces user experience gaps on deeper pages, breaking the continuity of the user journey and creating confusion during navigation.
- Presented the License List, License Detail, License Edit, and Add New License pages, and worked through several edge cases and secondary requirements, including "similar licenses found" statuses, change log visibility, and how these states should surface within the existing flows.
- Discussed the export and import workflow for licenses, evaluating which additional attributes should be supported and how the feature should behave for bulk actions and data consistency.
- Aligned on the priority of resolving navigation scalability before locking down individual page layouts, since the navigation model directly shapes how each page is entered and exited.
Activities Done
- Completed the first iteration of the License List, License Detail, License Edit, Add New License, and Compare Licenses pages, establishing a consistent structure across the set.
- Produced new iterations of the navigation system, streamlining its structure and simplifying the underlying user journeys to reduce redundant steps.
- Unified the Operations page into the Licenses and Obligations menus instead of maintaining it as a separate option under a new category, consolidating related actions and creating a more coherent, continuous user journey.
- Reviewed the edge-case states (similar licenses, change log) against the updated layouts to ensure they fit cleanly into the redesigned pages.
